Delivery Status In sales order

Information about bug

i have created sales order with 10 qty and one free item,item has Batch configuration enabled

Created delivery note with different line item for same item code to mention different batches

after submitting the delivery note it does not updating delivery status in sales order properly

Instead of creating a new line item in the delivery note, please try duplicating the row for which you are changing the batch. A new line item will not have the correct references to the Sales Order which is why you are experiencing this issue.
