I use an app called RoboCam

in my robots and work great.

I managed to decompile it and it now compile in Android Studio and can be used in some android phones.
(I am not sure this is all that legal :) ...... )

There are some bugs but it work.
I am trying to set it up on Gitpod, but for now you can play with it on Android Studio.

so I can understand what bugs are left.

No, it is not illegal for copyright reason (the license does not permit it), nor the reversed app is Free(libre) Software.
