While users from Wafrn can follow GoToSocial accounts and vice versa and also see eachother's posts (from what I can tell, replies and DMs also work), I noticed that non-post interactions (like boosts and likes, GtS doesn't support emoji reactions) don't get properly federated in both ways (so neither Wafrn nor GtS registers properly that one interacted with the other).

I have no idea if this is a GtS-specific issue or a Wafrn one, but I thought I'd drop it here first since no one reported on it just yet.

correction: apparently federation works when it comes to rewoots and likes (someone on Wafrn interacting with someone on GtS). that's... interesting, to say the least. (it kind of feels like I opened this issue for no reason lol, sorry-)

there may be some issues with gts federation but the basics should work.

there may be some edge cases that are hard to detect
