react-native-bottom v3 issues with Expo SDK 52

I have upgraded my app to the latest Expo SDK 52 with New Architecture Enabled. I'm observing a few issues:

"react-native-reanimated": "~3.16.1",

1. On android (physical device) the bottom sheet does not appear in dev mode (it does work in production).
2. On IOS (iphone 13, ios version 17.6.1) app is crashing in dev mode when accessing a page where the bottom sheet is rendered.

I disabled the new architecture and rebuilt the app (custom dev client) and now app is not crashing but bottom sheet is still not showing in IOS.
