The problem

This has happened a couple of times now. I set up the Hive integration and it works, then after some time it stops working and I can see this message: "This entity is no longer being provided by the hive integration". If I open the integration I can see that the hive hub appears to be online, but the tiles on the dash report unknown state for everything.

I enabled logging on the integration and left it. When I came to file this report - it seems to have started working again! I've uploaded the logs anyway, and and start a new log in case it stops working again..

Hey there @Rendili, @KJonline, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (hive) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

It happened again, I'm attaching the new log here. It came back on line again afterwards.
I suspect these are time-outs. Is there way to increase the timeouts a bit? I guess it's good to know that it's not online, but I don't know why the comms are flakey. HA is on a wired ethernet connection, as is the Hive Hub, and I have no problems using the Hive app itself. I'm surprised also to see the reference to kasa in the Hive logs...

It went offline again - everything else I have integrated is working; frigate & cams, matt, TP Link sockets.
This might not be related, but the whole PC became unresponsive too and I had to power cycle it to get it back. No idea where to begin with that (this too has happened before). Funnily enough, the Hive controlled lightbulbs are still responsive even though the themostat isnt. In fact, everything thats 'unavailable' is a function of the thermostat - I'm going to move it closer to the router...

Ok, so the thermostat has been close to the hub for a while but the integration for it didn’t come back up. I can use the thermostat directly to switch the heating on and off, so it is talking to the hub for sure.

I left the integration logger on for a much longer timespan
