It seems this is not meshing with the latest versions of Foundry well. For example, I cannot seem to pull in data from an .HDC file; the character remains with default stats and no visible powers.

I'm trying to coach my expectations and get a feel for whether this will be picked up again, or if I should get my big-boy britches and try to fork this and update it. (Background but no current expertise... it would be tough. No one expect results if I do that, please.)

Hey there, you should probably just fork it. I got burnt out on Hero and have stopped running it, which has largely caused me to lose interest in developing what was really just a tool to make my life easier.
