Thanks! 😃 Yes, I'm experimenting with it, but currently my time is VERY limited (newborn child 😄).. Your assumption is correct, but there are more values needed, especially in the 8FB area. I've tried setting Start stop to sport/eco/race and on/off. So far no luck there, but I need to do some more experimenting. Be sure to check out my comments inside the template as well. I've added a lot more there, not everything is documented in the wiki yet. |

@jilleb How did you manage that it's no longer setting start-stop back to ON when switching to an other profile? |

For me, Status: driving profile selection for start-stop function-Act.val. is either:
Start-stop is always enabled when I start the car, if I disable it using the driving mode button:
I had a quick look through my dataset but I'm not sure what's causing the Act.val. to change between 0 and 5. Feel free to take a look, I'm not sure if it's an stock dataset as I was given it when I updated my gateway to SW:4344: original.zip |

The values in the 8FB range change the actual value. |

There doesn't there seem to be anything in 8FB-9EA that reacts to start-stop or sets 0 and 5:

Yup:
So changing Drive will actually adjust the settings for all 4 of those? I'll take a closer look at 9EB-A2A section to start understanding. |

Basically we have to read the status out of Start Stop when disabling it from the button and then we need to send this signal from FPA with setting it to OFF right? |

I've been wondering through my dataset to get a feel for how things work and noticed mention of start-stop on the wiki.
My end goal would be to have start-stop user configurable on/off for individual mode and off in sport mode without pressing the button every drive or using an additional 'memory' module.
If I understand correctly, in theory it's possible:
This might let the user change between the different eco/normal/sport modes assuming they exist and the appropriate FeC/SWaP codes are installed?
Obviously I'm not sure those modes are applicable or would make any difference to start-stop (0x02) but I'd be interested to know if this is something you've experimented with at all.
Great work though, certainly made for some interesting reading this afternoon. Thank you for sharing :)
