React Aria provides custom modifiers for Tailwind in the form of a plugin:

<ListBoxItem className="selected:bg-blue-400 disabled:bg-gray-100">
  Item
</ListBoxItem>

This will make the classes more compact compare to raw data selectors (e.g. data-[...]:...).
