Glitch to navigate candidate out of screen?

Steps:

1. prepare long txt document that separate several vim's pages
2. there's only one word e.g: "dfasfdsfd" in page 2
3. there's only one above word in page 3
4. cursor on "dfasfdsfd" in page 2, press * serveral time
5. observe the glitch, flash screen and cursor keep stay on page 2 under "dfasfdsfd"
