Uudiste pealkirjad kasutavad tihti kursiivi, aga uudisvoos ei kajastata seda, kuna kõik HTML-elemendid korjatakse eelnevalt ära.

Atomi spetsifikatsioon võimaldab <title type="html"> aga RSS2 ainult entity encoded HTML tags.

FeedWriter ei luba määrata uudiskirjete pealkirjade type -- nad on teavitatud sellest ja veateade on postitatud.
