S3 compatible configuration

Listmonk can use an S3 bucket as storage.
Is the S3 configuration compatible with other providers besides AWS?
I tried to configure it for and iDrive e2 bucket and I didn't succeed.

listmonk uses the S3 API internally, so any S3 compatible API should work. I've tested it with Minio and B2, and it's worked.

Please share the errors you're getting.

The error – sorry partially in Italian – says:

The repeated parts I think suggest a configuration error on my side, even if I don't understand why. Probably the settings interface could be improved adding a test button.

Looks like an authentication issue from the error. A Test button is a good idea. Please open a feature request issue on the repo and we can consider it for a future version.

the answer is a proper configuration as the repetition of parts suggests that some parameters should be separated. This is the working config

This something more than an inspiration but does not explain the nature of the parameters. The AWS guide helps a lot even for s3 compatible configuration.
