T480s Ubuntu 16.04.x HCI (USB) controller not responding #15

I'm having an issue with my T480s on Ubuntu 16.04.x and HCI (USB) controller.

When I dock, the USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse) don't function anymore.

The dmesg commands shows the following:
[ 676.260048] xhci_hcd 0000:3c:00.0: xHCI host controller not responding, assume dead
[ 676.260054] xhci_hcd 0000:3c:00.0: HC died; cleaning up

When I undock and dock again, the USB peripherals are still not functioning.
