please enable the below command in service report which is required for vnic debugging

% echo "module ibmvnic +pt; func send_subcrq -pt" > /sys/kernel/debug/dynamic_debug/control

Hello @manvanthar

Could you please let me know the following things about the new validation?

  1. What are the IBM platforms you are targeting for the above validation?

  2. Are you OK if we enable the above logs only in the test environment?

  3. What is the best way to validate whether the above logs are enabled in the system or not?

Hi @sourabhjains

  1. This will PowerVM based only.
  2. Should be ok. As Dany confirmed in another channel that it will be too much of debug data for production.
  3. Dany can help confirm

@manvanthar Without having the proper data about list of checks needs to be done for vNIC, we may not be able to proceed further.
