This can currently be done by setting disableNavButtons = yes in the config.ini options

In the app, go to top left menu and enable "Collapse spacing"

Background color customization should come in a future app version, thanks for the suggestions.

Could you add a feature that corrects the size of the images.

All the images in the cbz file are not uniform in shape, some of them have a shorter length. The shorter images are much larger than the rectangular panels.
