Consider using the DebugProtocolServer from the RokuCommunity roku-debug project:

https://github.com/rokucommunity/roku-debug/blob/master/src/debugProtocol/server/DebugProtocolServer.ts

const server = new DebugProtocolServer();
server.plugins.add(yourPluginInstance)
