[Bug]: Linux unrecognizable characters in preferences #493

Describe the bug

If I go to the preferences and attempt to open storage location, I get an unreadable dialog filled with rectangular characters.

To reproduce

  1. Go to Preferences
  2. Click on Open Storage
  3. see what I mean!
  4. or goto massCode menu and click "check for updates" --- same result--a dialog filled with rectangular characters.

masscode_3.11.0_amd64.snap

OS

ubuntu 24.10
