If launching multiple copies of the UI (for managing multiple switches) do not allow two copies to connect to a single switch. Ideally, have a semaphore or other way to coordinate so that a search on the new instance does not show the switch(s) that are already open in other instances

Since we have added support for connecting multiple switches in an instance, still multiple instances required ?
