BYD Dolphin - Finding SOC and Setting up vehicle profile

Hello all,
got a BYD Dolphin and started playing around with it. I would like to share my findings and maybe buid a profile for everyone.

So i used the Car Scanner App to look after the SOC, as this is my primary goal. I found out that the PIDs for the Atto do not work.
Following PID was found and contains the SOC:

2200051
7EF0462000546

Looking at answer i logged several values, while driving over the last few days and got following data to work with:

Looking at this pattern my conclusion is that the SOC is coded in the last two Digits. These are in HEX format. This gives so far a 100% match.

I also tried to look at any initiallisation Commands in the logs and found following commands at startup of a session:

So far this has been the first part of the puzzle, but now i am unsure on how to proceed. I would like to verify my assumptions by polling the car directly over WiCan without the Carscanner App and read this value. But i am not sure on to set this up? In the end i would like to communicate this (and maybe other parameters) via MQTT to home assistant and my charging solution.
I will continue to play around. If there are any resources on how to set this up please share, i am a bit unsure.

So i tried to Set up the MQTT Server, and i can listen in on the rx Topic.... there is a lot of traffic.

So i tried to request the SOC Topic with following Command:

But i am not sure what i am requesting, since there is no documentation i could find. Also i am not sure, if the car answered me... i am drowning in messages.
Could anybody point me in the right direction on how i poll the car via MQTT?

Hey Meatpi,
thanks for the help. I attatched a Log with the SOC. It was a short drive and the SOC dropped from 76% to 73%
I did some assumptions in the Top Post, on Initialisation Commands and how the PID is coded

I did another analysis. This is on the Connector Count. This is basically on how often the HW Battery is connected to charge.

I found following expression:
PID 22000B1 | Response 7EF0562000B5001 | equals 336

I did several logs over the last few days and got following Answers:

7EF0562000B5001 | 336
7EF0562000B5101 | 337
7EF0562000B5901 | 345
7EF0562000B5D01 | 349

With these Values i conclude the Calculation is to take 0B5D(hex) -> 2909(dec) - 2560 = 349
This works for all Values so far.

@meatpiHQ I would like to get some more Data out of the Dolphin, but so far i did not succeed to send a value via the Dongle towards MQTT. I am unsure on how to set up either a Request via MQTT or a Rule in the Automate Tab. Before I spend more time it would be nice to know if you can use this type of Data to build a Vehicle Profile.

@T1983M sorry about the delay. I've created a new profile for the dolphin. Please press on get latest button and try it. Let me know if it works.

With the profile no need to send any MQTT message. The autopid will handle everything and send the SoC to MQTT or the HA integration will fetch it.
