Looks amazing.
But could you pls explain where you found the "working" PIDs you used, and how you translate them from the cryptic format they are published to the format you used?

I recived my wican two days ago, and until now I tryed to get data by publish things like

Maybe for you its easy to read. But I have not the slightest clue, what I do with this info.

BC is the hex value of the SOC
BC hex = 188 (base10)
This value is divided by 2 to get the 94 % SOC

Thats the same you postet ago. I tryd this tonight while charging the car, but get no "changing" results, where I can guess what value is the right one.

it is disabled.
BUT. I just checked what the car answered 2h ago, as I start my way to work.
The last reading differs very from the readings tonigt.

It is

[16, 62, 98, 1, 1, 255, 247, 231]

And I startet with a SOC auf 74% (in the odometer) after charging.
And again I am lost. There is no value of 148 (or in the range of it).

Maybe your Kona 2019 differs from my Niro EV 2019 (what Im not thinking, but it is a posibility).
Maybe I have to figure out how I get the info out of car scanner.
Is the Sensor-ID in Car-Scanner the Same as in Wican?

Or Did you just monitor with wican the Data-Treffic Car-Scanner produce while you just view the SOC for example?

I see this 7E4 in your google sheet before. But the Adress (in hex) is something completly different. But I now know, that e/2 means that I have to divide the Number by 2 ...

I used car scanner and the sheet to figure it out.
it’s not my sheet and yes it’s in hex so you will need to convert some things :)

Thank you again for your support. My E-Niro is working similar to your Kona (as assumed).
And you are right. It needs an upgrade to the new firmware 2.92. Now it works.

I ask in another thread for help for my problem. But it seems, I will become no answer. And this discussion/problem is simular to my problem, only another car and I can benefit from your experience.

My car is a Opel Mokka-e an now, I hope, to get with the WiCan a solution for all the problems with stellantis interface.

I followed the example for homeassistant. But in the MQTT Explorer I did not see va valid result. So I think I need another Pid for the MOkka-SoC.rS

First I did not understand the way from CarScanner to MeatPi. How can I see what CarScanner transmit?

And second I have see the Excel, but this should be later to clear.

Did you try and use "MQTT elm327 log:" and capture data while carscanner is displaying the SOC ?

The first instruction was to enable the log and than

So I disabled.
The actual problem is Car Scanner: Yesterday it works, in this morning CarScanner did not connect to the ECU! I did not know whats happend. So tried the HA AddOn PSA Car controller again. And after many tries the add On works. So I will stop the WiCan implementation. Maybe later I try it again, I think it is a good project.

Have you checked which request CarScanner has sent to wake up the ECU?
I have a Skoda Enyaq and when I wait about 2 hours CarScanner can't connect on the first try, it needs a second one.
When it tried to connect, I was standing in front of my car and I heard a few soft clicks.
I've traced the sequence used by CarScanner and created a test script, when I run this script twice I hear the same quiet clicks and it looks like it's waking up the CAN bus.

I've got SOC working, which is the main thing I want, but has anyone managed to get Odometer readings from the Kona? Would be keen to track how much I drive how often, so being able to get the odo readings into HA means I could track that easily. Though I can't even get odo readings with the CarScanner app
