Duplicate link at the top of the curriculum page does not create a duplicate copy of the curriculum on Chrome or Firefox (unless allow rule added to popup blocker)
After adding an Allow rule in the Firefox built in popup blocker, then duplication did work and created a new gist.
Adding the same rule to Chrome did not resolve the issue
Environment:
The problem was experienced on the following systems
Ubuntu Linux 18.10 - Firefox version 66.0.3 (64-bit) - fails with built-in popup blocker, works when Allow rule added.
Ubuntu Linux 18.10 - Chrome Version 72.0.3626.96 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Windows 10 Pro - Chrome version 74.0.3729.131 (Official Build) (64-bit) (Incognito mode)
URL to a gist replicating the issue (if possible/relevant)
Thanks for reporting this, John. We definitely want to get this functionality sorted for everyone.
Sharing my data point for debug purposes: I just tested and was able to duplicate a gist with Firefox v66.0.5 (64-bit), even after removing it from the blocked-pop-ups Exceptions list. Same with Chrome version 74.0.3729.131 (Official Build) (64-bit). All of this was on MacOS Mojave 10.14.4 (18E226).
