What is your question?

Hello CoE Team,

I hope all is well. Can you provide some advice please?

We've installed the CoE core components and have all the Flows owned by a service account user. The service account user has MFA enabled. What we're seeing is that often some of the Connections are failing and need authenticating again. This is constantly happening.

When I raised a ticket to premier support then said this: "The Flows will continue to run as expected, even with MFA enabled, as long as the connection references are valid and authenticated."

Any idea why our connections continue to need authenticating and how to solve it? If not, I'll contact premier support again.

Thanks very much,

Garry

For clarity you do mean a service user correct? Not a service principle (app registration).

If user, yes my current test tenant does require MFA for my test user and my flows run fine.

  • Did you log in to the UX with the user before running the flows?
  • Did you install as the user?
  • If not install, did you move all the connection references to this new user?

Hello @Jenefer-Monroe,

Thanks for the speedy reply. You are correct, I did mean a service account user and not a service principal.

To answer your questions, please see below.

  1. I did log into the UX with the user before running the Flows.
  2. I did install the CoE as the user.

Good to know you have no issues in your tenancy and are doing the same as me.

Thanks very much,

Garry

Yes sorry I don't know. Please do let me know what you find with support though!

Hi guys,
We're experiencing this issue quite often as well, though less so with the Service Account we use in the CoE kit. However, it happens frequently with other Service Accounts.
The support team hasn’t provided a solid explanation for this. Connections—especially SharePoint and Office 365—are breaking even without any password changes.

Hello @LucasCXavier,

Thanks for letting me know. Sorry you're experiencing it too, but good that I'm not the only one!

I haven't contacted Microsoft about it yet, but when I do, I'll let you and Jen know.

Thanks,

Garry
