Keyboard Shortcuts Code Component

I'm having trouble getting the Keyboard Shortcuts component to work. When I enter an array of values in the KeyConfig property, I get an error saying it's expecting a text value. What am I doing wrong? I tried opening the reference app to see how it's done there, but the app does not show up in my solution or environment after I install the Creator Kit. Any insight here would be very appreciated.
