Current version uses mmdblua and supports only country list.
Example.

-- handle all records except Russian. E.g. ban after first fail
JAIL{ "fail-access", .... cfilter = {'geoip', filter = {'ru', '--'}, type = 'deny'} ..... }

But this version has several problems

  • Need way to support some Lan IP addresses (now they have -- code)
  • Need way to specify continent/city
  • Need way to specify some exclusions (as cidr or as country/city)
  • Support IPv6
