Crash on startup

I have been an EDEngineer user for a while now, but after updating to th emost recent version, I now get a long error message (and no apparent way to copy the text in the message box). The gist appears to be "Configuration system failed to initialize" and then a stack trace.

I don't know if this is the same problem, but I installed EDEngineer yesterday on my Windows 11. All went well until I tried to run it. It takes a long time then it shows this first error message:

After I close this error window (which is very long) I get another error message:

What should I do to fix the problem?

@Azanian93 - by the way, I couldn't select the error text by using the mouse. I had to click on the window, press Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+C
