I have found a workaround - but there seems to be an underlying issue. I edited the windows.ipxe file as follows: As you can see I point towards the ipxe/wimboot github page for the file download instead of the boot domain to load the file. The file does exist under /netboot_xyz/config/menus, so I don't know why it struggles to load it locally. |

Hello everyone, I set up netboot.xyz according to technotims tutorial at https://technotim.live/posts/netbootxyz-tutorial/
I have created a WinPE .iso and extracted its contents to the appropriate directory and pointed netboot.xyz to the appropriate directory in the boot.cfg
All other images or tools work just fine, but when I try to boot windows over the network, I get the following error feedback:
http://boot.netboot.xyz/2.0.78/wimboot... Connection reset (https://ipxe.org/0f0a6095) Could not boot: connection reset (https://ipxe.org/0f0a6095) Error occured, press any key to return to menu ...
It's either that or "Operation not permitterd" instead of "Connection reset". At a bit of a loss here. File/folder permissions look fine and I can access the directory from my browser, getting an entry in the access.log. I get no entries in either access.log or error.log when trying to access it from my machine booting to netboot.xyz
