I would like to see trashy in various official distributions.

Linux

Repology can cover status of huge number of Linux distributions.

I totally support this, but do note that trashy is probably going to have a major release soon with big breaking changes like renaming the executable to trashy and also dropping support for the trash <PATH> invocation. So it might be best to pause these efforts until the next release because things will probably have to change in these upstream packaging efforts when that drops, in particular for the executable rename. @oberblastmeister @perlinm @novedevo @stelcodes what's the current status?
The last commit was 3 months ago. Is it still maintained? I would like to file an RFP for Debian.

trashy is already in my distribution, so not much for me to do there :)

Although the version of trashy in the nixos repo (and also the latest release on github) does not include this PR fixing #97, so in practice I still install trashy from the github repo... The fix here would be to first (a) release a new version of trashy, and then (b) bug the package maintainer for nixos to update the package.

@j-lakeman I'm still maintaining trashy.

I've been pretty busy, but I'll probably make a new release of trashy soon.

Gr8, no worries!

I'll try to get it packaged for Debian then.
