I haven't done a LOT of troubleshooting just yet, but my NVIDIA Shield is connected to a 7.1 stereo system. My gaming PC running Sunlight is also connected to a 7.1 stereo system. When I connect to my gaming PC via moonlight on my cell phone, audio is fine. |

It looks like this was a fluke on my end. After changing a few things (so I don't know what the ultimate fix was), I manually assigned the main audio device as the output device in the sunshine configuration page. And I set my nVidia Shield to 5.1 audio rather than 7.1 (even though I think I had tried that before). Lastly, I simply rebooted my gaming PC. Stupidly, I think it was the reboot that fixed it actually. Because the other day I noticed choppy audio while playing via my Phone when that wasn't choppy before. So I just rebooted my gaming PC and when I reconnected, it was all good. |
