Speedometer displays a fluctuating speed

Since I have a new phone, the speedometer seems to measure speed at a high rate (instead of once a second as previously), and consequently displays a fluctuating speed in an interval of around 3-4 km/h at this high rate (maybe 5 times per second), as this rate exceeds the possible precision of the GPS.
It would be nice to have it calculating speed once per second and display a stable speed…
