On Windows 7 64-bit, when using the classic or basic theme, 32-bit OpenGL applications do not work correctly. They seem functional (sound is playing), but there is no display. When using Aero, these applications seem to work. However, I don't like this solution as Aero is intensive to run on GMA.
I've done some searching, and I have found no other solutions, apart from enabling Aero.
I have yet to test how 32-bit Windows behaves.

No dice, I'm afraid. Even a full system reboot, and not changing anything else, results in an empty window. I also tested Quake III, with similar results. I will get around to testing 32-bit W7 today.
