General Problem

Core assembly.

Build Picture

  1. During C030, we discovered that the gap between part no. 50 (added in C009) and part no. 48 (C004) was non-existent due to there being a slight incline in part 30/50 combo. This prevented part 50 from going over part 48 and reaching the stop switch (connector no. 3 from C026).

The last two pictures show the two main points at which we could adjust the setup to resolve the issue. These are both added in C011.

We also have to be aware of the spacing at the back for part no. 50 and part no. 58 (added in C030).
The spacing over the screws at the inside of the front was also important for part no. 50.

Ensuring the sub assembly C005 was not rubbing against part no. 25 (step C003) was also a consideration. We did not get this part truly vertical in our working version, as illustrated below

In the end, we undid the 4 screws securing the L bracket from C011 and pulled the low end of horizontal extrusion (also from C011) and then tightened the screws before letting go
H005, we are using the bolts which came with 16 and therefore are not using 4 pieces of part no. 13. There was also another bolt with 16 that was left unused.

  2. Part 32 appeared in assembly steps 12 and 21 but it was not in any of the part list. We suspect that it is just a redundant bar used as a reference for length.
