[core] pod phase count status update in AW

Describe the Bug

PR #601 removes the pod informer. we need to verify and create test cases on where the Pending/Running/Failed/Succeded count is still updated in the appwrapper

Steps to Reproduce the Bug

Fire AW and check whether the desired pod count is present

What Have You Already Tried to Debug the Issue?

While manual testing pod count is seen in logs but not propagated in AW

The count should be present in the AW
