Com essa app, deverá ser possível cadastrar as palestras via admin do Django.

Não pode ser o app do Google calendar não?
No caso, uma widget do google calendar. Com essa widget o usuário consegue colocar nas agendas do android, iphone, outlook, firebird, e outros que não me lembro mais...

Parece interessante a integração com o google calendar, mas acredito que o intuito inicial é basicamente listar as palestras cadastradas.
