Describe the bug

The 'Explore' Page on my mobile phone and another mobile phone takes very long to load.
The 'Photos' page loads normally.

I think it's because we made a lot of adjustments and grouping of 'People'. On another Android device with more grouping ond moving of People done i see loading times of ~1min everytime i open the 'Explore' page.

We do have a lot of pictures, the System itself runs on a SSD, the pictures on a HDD.

I would expect at least the Options to be available without waiting 1min everytime i click 'Explore'

I see no Logs for this behaviour. Newest Version of Nextcloud and the memories App.

Besides that i love the App, thx for everything!

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Use the Android Memories App
  2. Have a lot of pictures with faces
  3. Group them in the App on the 'Explore' 'Recognize' page
  4. Do many adjustments (put the same people who were wrong recognised in one folder etc)
  5. Expect very long loading times when opening the Memories App and clicking on the 'Explore' page

Platform

- OS:Android
- Browser: (App)
- Memories Version: newest
- Nextcloud Version: newest
- PHP Version: 8.3

No response

Additional context

  • Any errors in the JS console? No
  • Any errors in the Nextcloud server logs? No

I can see on my instance the process of mariadb is using about a quarter (25%) of my cpu power (seen with htop) while the "Explore" page loads. Could this be a query which takes too long or can something be more tuned?
