Just wanted to add this as a feature request here for you if you want to have a go at it. I will try to add it myself over at my fork (https://github.com/adityavm/speechhub) as well, but since you have more experience with pystache, I'm guessing your solution will be more elegant.

Added this in yesterday (forgot to reference this issue in the commit): adityavm@91c14ca

It'll be great if you could have a look and see if it's good enough to be merged with your master (I should warn you that my fork has deviated a lot from yours, so just a pull will probably screw things up for you).
