How do I prevent Quarto from injecting LaTeX package caption

Modify the partials and/or template as done for journal extensions published either by Quarto team or the community. Note that caption is used for cross-reference, so for this part, I'm not sure there is really a way around it. Edit: you could target LaTeX format with I'm assuming you did look in LaTeX forums, etc., but I believe the LaTeX community must have faced this conflict before, no solution/workaround were found? |

Can you try setting
This should opt-out any crossref processing by quarto to happen. But this mean you can't benefit for Quarto's cross ref mechanism and need to use raw LaTeX directly. Unless this does not work anymore for some reason... which is something I wondered in the past already 🤔 |
