single datasource multiple indexers, native distributed indexing question #5534

any timeline on native distributed indexing supported in single data source? what kind of native indexing are we talking here? APIs, files?

I am not sure what you mean. We support distributed indexing in single data source:

  • kafka
  • kinesis
  • ingest v2

Ingest v2 is the new version of our push API. It is available in main and in v0.8... but it is not the default.

@fulmicoton so do you mean single instance already support multiple indexer with ingest v2 in v0.8?
