Kotlin: Code generation is a nice to have. As Java & Kotlin are JVM-compatible, doing code generation in Kotlin rather than Java adds little to no value. The key win was allowing developers to write your module in Kotlin, which you can already do.

Swift: There a number of already opened issues/PRs about it such as this one
