[Feature Request] Support for Git Large File Storage #547

Our designers recently started using git for version controlling their work. But git isn't really made for large binary files and github developed an extension called LFS to improve this workflow.
Would it be possible to implement support for LFS?

I would very much second that request, but it looks somewhat out of scope for this plugin? Git-annex (which is already supported) looks to have been much easier to integrate. Especially the git-lfs-authenticate stuff looks like it needs some additions in gitolite proper.

you say it best, but I keep the issue open in case someone would like to implement it.
