The following problems are bugging the Camera on this port (both OP5/5T are affected afaik):

  • Camera captured video recordings are "corrupted" for the first 2 seconds always and have very visible "compression artifacts" when moving even slightly
  • Pictures are taken before the camera flash gets activated (when enabled) -> causes entirely dark images due to flash activating too slowly when commanded to activate
  • When toggling off the flashlight for example via pulldown quick setting (dbus) it starts to rapidly flash on/off for a moment before actually turning off (wtf?); logcat is also spammed A LOT during the flash being enabled

TODO: Gather small log snippets from both journalctl -f & logcat (only new updated lines after the command is run) after toggling the flashlight (on & off quickly), recording a short video and also taking a picture with flash on to help pin down the issues
