@pengisgood, @XuefengWu , @kunkun-tang, @jasonqu. Hi guys.

There's been some updates to Getting Started guide (#306 and #310):

2d4ad0d...b82004c

If you could update the Mandarin translation, or recruit someone to do so that'd be great!

This blog post describing a Mercurial workflow to manage translations might be of interest:

If anyone is interested in re-tracking, GitHub gives you history for all changes in src/reference/00-Getting-Started:

xuwei-k added a commit to xuwei-k/website that referenced this issue May 22, 2019
adding import renaming Path to UFPath to example for people not reading example code

I just read https://www.scala-sbt.org/1.x/docs/zh-cn and I must say the translation has... rooms for improvement.

At least after all these years LLMs are getting decent at translation. I think we can use an LLM to mass translate, another pass to use LLM to review its own translations. I speak Mandarin so I can give the result a final look & do some last minute editing.

For sbt 2.x documentation, maybe we can try https://github.com/google/mdbook-i18n-helpers/, which uses https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gettext

Reading the translation right now. Shall add comments to your PR and we can make a separate PR revising & completing the mandarin translation.
