Background service only running once

I have a background service registered and it works the first time but not after that.

Here is my code

                        let jobs = JobInfo(typeof<ShinyJob>, "ScheduleNotifications")
                        jobs.PeriodicTime <- TimeSpan.FromSeconds 10.
                        jobs.Repeat <- true
                        jobs.IsSystemJob <- true
                        let jobManager = ShinyHost.Resolve<Jobs.IJobManager>()
                        do! jobManager.Register(jobs) |> Async.AwaitTask

and here is my Job class

type ShinyJob() =
    interface IJob with
        member this.Run (jobInfo, cancelToken) =
            task {
                printfn "-----> Running job Started %A" (DateTime.Now)
                return true
            }

I have googled for a day but have not found the reason why this is not working, any help would be greatly appreciated.
