dmesg:
[ 138.363129] seq_file: buggy .next function bkn_seq_dma_next [linux_bcm_knet] did not update position index
I saved show techsupport output here.
I can help with testing on this hardware when sb have time to look at it. Thanks!

@arunlk-dell i seen that you worked with this switch model. Can you recommend a sonic build where hardware offloading works?
I tested on all broadcom branches, it seems the 202305 is the closest, i can see fan, voltage and leds also seems to work. I can communicate with the 25gb ports. Now i inserted a 1Gbit rj45 to a port then communication works, but the throughput only 0.5Gb and there is 40% system load on the switch, so i think hardware offloading does not work. How can i debug this?
Thanks!

update

after tested all branches the SONiC-OS-202411.768299-645a40f54 was the best.
After some debugging i discovered that the pmon container does not have ipmitools installed. After i installed the package show platform fan started to work.

I test fairly heavily on S5248F myself, I haven't been able to use master or 202411 for quite a while due to various issues. I'm maintaining a fork here that builds any time I add a new commit:
https://github.com/bradh352/sonic-buildimage/

The bradh352/master and bradh352/202411 are likely the branches you are interested in.

I haven't tested master in a couple of weeks. I've submitted PRs to correct all the issues I've had, a few have been merged at least....
