Lot of manual setup is currently required, followed by exporting a WAR file to deploy to some Tomcat instance. Need a real build system to do this in an IDE agnostic way. Also better than keeping dependency jars directly in the repository.

It would also be nice to have a Vagrant configuration so new devs can get up and running right away.
