the pauseForCutscene() function does not work if it is immediately followed by a choice branch.
Right now we just temporarily bypass it with a filler line in front of it. Possibly some handling problem?

Same issue with pause/resume whenever there's a portrait for the first line after resuming story. The portrait does not display

fixed the portrait after pause/resume (dont remember pull #), but choices is a little harder. will look at later.
