In this issue we track currently known limitations of the SDK:

Core

1. Profile validation is disabled - Our current profile validator written in JS is causing hard-to-debug failures in the QuickJS runtime.

Cloudflare host

1. Network errors are not trivial to map to core errors - For example DNS resolution error is returned as a 530 response with body being human readable HTML that we would need to parse to obtain the information about the error
2. Async safety - The host uses an implementation of async mutex to avoid entering the core from multiple tasks, as currently it is not async safe. However, on Cloudflare it is an error to await a promise created in a different request handler invocation causing a server error when two requests hit the same worker at the same time.
3. Wasm blob size - The wasm blob is too big to fit under the Cloudflare free tier limit of 1MB (after gzip), so only local testing or paid tier (5MB limit) are possible.
