Thanks! I completely agree. The numbers are really difficult to read at the moment.
An option could also be something like:
22 -> 22 928 -> 928 1928 -> 1.9k 179044 -> 179k 21460075 -> 21.4M 21639119 -> 21.6M
This is the formatting I used previously when drawing graphs for tag transitions between amenity-tags.
