Reolink E1 Pro

Good day, does neolink work with Reolink E1 Pro?
Reolink E1 Pro has an rtsp stream but is always smeared in zoneminder and I've read in others.
I set neolink up and get the message

But vlc throws an error and doesnt open with rtsp://192.168.1.15:8554/sofia

We have a few users who use E1 Pro so it should work. Perhaps you can share more about your setup and provide more logs.

If your on linux please make sure youv'e followed all the steps as shown here: https://github.com/thirtythreeforty/neolink/blob/master/docs/unix_setup.md

Usually its something like missing the gstreamer plugins.

When making logs please set the environmental variable GST_DEBUG=3

I run Unraid and I'm using your docker image as such:

I configured the neolink.toml like this:

and then tried vlc network stream like this:

rtsp://192.168.1.15:8554/sofia

vlc generates this error:

Connection failed:
VLC could not connect to "192.168.1.15:8554".
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'rtsp://192.168.1.15:8554/sofia'. Check the log for details.

However on docker with the debut settings on I get nothing:

Wait a second. What sort of network are you using with docker? Won't the IP have to be the docker internal IP rather than the 192.168.1.15 that you set bind too. Since it's in docker I recommend you just set it to 0.0.0.0 unless your using host network mode

docker is in bridge mode and changed the bind to 0.0.0.0. and no errors. see below.

rtsp will be at the ip of the docker host

Thank you for the guidance. It seems i may finally be able to use this camera with zoneminder.
The direct camera rtsp is unusable. It's smeared most of the time.

Often you make a change in zoneminder and it seems to stabilise, 3 minutes later it's jumping all over the place.

It's now going through neolink and looks pretty stable.
