  • There are multiple organizations interested in hosting the next editions in different regions. Mostly likely that next one will be organized in Germany. To be decided.

• Eclipse foundation is organizing an Automotive OS event in Munich this year.

• Open Source Sustainability Challenge in European organizations with an OSPO: PR here.
  • Identify different patterns
  • Summarize them in a guide
  • Call of action: Review the PR so that we can follow up next time
• Question: what does OS sustainability mean to all the attendees?
  • The OSPO can make the organization more “open source sustainable” in long-term
  • There is a clear misunderstanding within organizations that do not know how to interact with the open source about open source (they end up thinking that is not working and stop financing open source efforts). OSPOs can be the key lever to EDUCATE those organizations on the value of open source contribution and give back to the community.
