With the advent of Antora taking over the frontend of most CMS ASCIIDoc libraries, the general utility that asciidoxy provides could benefit from splitting its functionality. With the Antora collector extension, .adoc files generated by asciidoxy could be used by other frontend utilities that handle the .adoc to html conversion without importing other functionality. Additionally, the split would help solidify the Doxygen utilities that might benefit from a stronger interface boundary.
asciidoxy is truly a wonderful collaboration as it stands, and seeing its functionality broaden with a reconfiguration would be delightful.
