Please consider moving

sysklogd/src/syslogd.c

Lines 1694 to 1701 in 8e230d3

           	tv.tv_usec = 0; 
        
           } 
        
           localtime_r(&tv.tv_sec, &now.tm);

           buffer->timestamp = now;

into separate function (e.g. set_timestamp()) and using it ASAP when syslogd runs with -T to increase accuracy a bit.
